Yes, I truly enjoy going to BellyDance Meetups.Basmah's topics always include something educational. I love that! It's also great to meet with women who have similar aspirations & goals. We share our various experiences & learn from each other.

Music of all genres, continual learning, & personal growth; I help organize because I want to make a difference in our group; I also want all of us to enrich, expand, & share experiences. I truly believe when people do that, BIG things happen.
- Are you a Beginner or How long have you been dancing?

Bellydancing since Jan'06 & want to learn more! Though, I've danced in Broadway style reviews, swing/ballroom, ballet, tap, salsa; I'm a Professional Singer & Live Music Promoter, & hoping to network with other dancers on a professional basis. "
- Do you prefer Meetup in Jersey City or Hoboken?

Hoboken is best, it's closest, clean, & parking is so easy there at Monroe; I would also like to add additional classes & workshops, and would consider other locales for that purpose.

I liked Basmah b/c she is very professional & accredited. I was intrigued & wanted to formally learn this dancing technique. I began study, fell in *love* with it, now I'm hooked! I'm also proud to be a new Ambassador for MiamiBellydance MU too!

“ Despite the walk up in a foot brace--owch!visiting Michael Riegelman & meeting up with his NYC Arabic Club Group for their Rooftop HAFLA was worth every step! The shared company was lovely, the dancers, from many groups, were wonderful, & the feeling of sharing while enjoying the whole experience upon his rooftop was priceless! Michael is a fantastic group leader & cross group initiator--he welcomed us warmly & treated our Basmah like the QUEEN she is. I took pics of it all to share soon! Very Bright, Very interesting, FUN women & men attend our meetings, and our group is continually bolstered by their ongoing support, fresh ideas & 'Joie de Vivre!' When like minded people with similar goals & interests put their heads together ~MAGICAL~ things happen to follow! And, that goes for like-minded women set loose together on the dance floor too! I know we ALL have a GREAT time watching Bellydance shows AND enjoy sharing in our own dancing after! Let's Dance again soon! ”
