Meetup.coms New Features Launch

I was honored to be selected as one of 50 Meetup Organizers across the world to take part in a live presentation of the new things to come at Meetup.com!

To begin, we got to see photos of Meetup.coms New York office, and their hard working staff committed to making Meetup.com great.

The second part of our live online meeting was a demo! I wish you could have been there to see these exciting fresh changes!

The improvements will remove clutter and will make the site easier to use. From what I saw, it does just that. It is a clean design and very functional. They have incorporated many things that organizers have been asking for.

Without going into too much detail...because we were sworn to secrecy... one of my favorite things was the cleaned up calendar page! Very nice and easy to use.

Other nice changes are:
~to the photo page
~Meetup widgets
~browsing categories
~browsing other Meetups (of any subject) that are happening in your town by zip code
~create a calendar event page!
~venue ratings
~better groups ratings

Meetup.coms new clean look and feel are just around the corner. I will keep you posted as to when the launch date is, but until then check in because you are not going to want to miss this!
