Where do you live?

Originally from Washington D.C. I LIVE in Clinton, Maryland (Southern Maryland)

What brought you to this dance form?

Seeing women who looked like me was the clincher! Somewhere in my psyche I always wanted to be engaged with this dance, but I found my spirit soared when I started on this path. Now it is "what I do" : org mgt, perform, teach, costume design, shows

How long have you been dancing?

I've only been bellydancing for six years, but I've been dancing all of my life in various genres.

What have you found most interesting about this dance form and its variations?

I am amazedat the diversity, the range of beauty in motion and I appreciate the human capacity for creativity. Every dancer expresses the gift of her own unique style, costuming and interpretations. It's bliss!

What are it's benefits to you personally?

Personally I feel I have flowered into the multi-faceted woman I was meant to be with the addition of my dance activities and involvement with the wonderful community of dancers who are close to my heart. I am fed by the world of bellydance!
