Mohamed Shahin, a native of Egypt, began his dance training at age 14 studying classical dance as well as all forms of Egyptian folklore and earning his degree in dance at the famous school of El Kamiah in Cairo. He was troupe manager for Egypt's national singer Samir Sabri and has performed internationally in nightclubs, numerous television shows and movies. His spectacular Tanoura (whirling dervish) and Saiidi Tahtib (stick dance) have placed him in demand throughout the world as both performer and choreographer.

    Mohamed is a great teacher. Those of you that have never taken from him will love this. I can't wait to see everyone in Miami again. It's been too long :( Sevdiah

Who attended?

    •  Mohammed is a great dancer and instructor?and what a nice guy! 
    •  <Mohamed is an adept dancer and excellent instructor who can pin point exactly what needs to be corrected in your style. Don't miss him next time he's in town. We hope to see instructional videos coming from him soon!!! 
    •  FABULOUS! 
    •  Mohamed was amazing, funny and a great instructor (as well as performer). I wish we had more time with him so he could finish the choreographies he was teaching us. 
    •  He is an amazing dancer and instructor. He taught an oriental choreography, Saidiy cane choreography and started to show a melaya routine. I had the privalage of a private tahteeb class.
