My name is Amara. I am a bellydance performer and instructor in the Cary/Apex area. I have been bellydancing for 6 years and I am a member of Colorful Waves Bellydance Troupe.

yes, my husband loves to cook middle eastern food. He is also a Middle Eastern Drummer and plays with the Lost Nomads.

Tell us a little something about yourself.......

I am a SAHM to three kids ages 17, 7, and 4. I have my own photography business, Woodland Willow Photography. My husband is a musician and plays drums, bass guitar, flute, and didge. We enjoy drumming/dancing together.

Are you a teacher, student, performer, or an enthusiastic observer ready to cheer for your fellow dancer?

student, performer, instructor I teach classes at my home studio in Apex and also at Middle Creek Community Center through the Cary Parks and Rec.
