First class was Jan02. Was in Belly Rev; then co-started my own troupe Akasha. Created & still moderate the Carolina Bellydancers & ACCMED Yahoogroups. After a 2 yr break, found my way back to dancing. Taking a class from Haala right now.

Currently a student, used to be a performer and hope to do so again, and definitely an enthusiastic observer when it comes to watching my sister dancers cut the rug! :)
- How long have you been dancing?

First class was Jan02 under Qadria. Was very active in the community through '05. In early '06, I stepped away from dancing for a while (but continued my moderator duties). This year, I went to Aisha Ali's workshop & I'm taking Haala's class.
