“ I think this BMore Bellydance meetup group is really cool! Thank you Nina for being such a great organizer (even though I've only been a member for a week or so! :D)!. I've learned a lot even just from one workshop, and because an event I was performing in was posted here, I met a very wonderful person who had just joined the Meetup like me! :) I believe it's extremely important for all of us to keep a positive, supportive atmosphere for everyone involved, because everyone here ranges in experience, from novice to professional. It's also important for everyone to benefit from everyone else's knowledge in a positive way; we can do this by keeping the airwaves clear, so to speak, and open so everyone can feel comfortable around one another. CATTINESS SUCKS, and it only hinders; it depressingly brings out people's insecurities about their dancing. Let's focus on keeping this Meetup a beacon of GOOD energy so no one need feel insecure about their performances! YAYNESS! happy shimmies :) :D ”
