Introduction
I've been dancing on and off since 1979. My style is a fusion of many things, but I love Tribal best. I'm the proud owner of Lotus Dance Studio in Pembroke Pines. Our Passion is TRIBAL STYLE. We're getting ready for the FAERIE Show! Join us!
How did you start belly dancing?
In 1979 I recieved free coupons for a months worth of dance classes at a studio in Gendale, Ca. I took Belly Dance, Tap & Ballet for months (didn't like tap). Finally stayed with only the Belly Dance, It became an addiction & I'm still addicted.
How long were you taking lessons before you performed for the first time?
My first teacher was Rosanna Bloom, she was a student of the great Aisha Ali. I waited over a year to do my first performance. It was such a rush!
How did you learn about the Broward County Bellydance Meetup Group

She hasn't yet, but she will soon. She's quite shy, but I convinced her to get it because it would be very good for her.
I'll stop by for sure. I'm not sure if I can make it to the Fairy show, which I'd like to, but my mother in law will be in town then so It might not work.
I may just come and take a class soon.

Hi Alina, thank you so much! It's great to be involved in belly dance again now that I've moved back. My last performance in Philly was on September 3rd, yet it feels like soooo long ago! Looking forward to meeting you and many others and enjoy sharing our beautiful art and passion!
